Yesterday I came across a video on the Cruise Critic website by Thomson Cruises, and what a video it was! The idea behind it is to showcase recent upgrades to the lines two flag-ships, Thomson Dream and Thomson Celebration, but it is how they have actually gone about doing this that stands out.
The concept is UNIQUE and more importantly it appeals to everyone!
Thomson have now raised the advertising bar. Check it out!

The free runners who feature in the video are actually part of a larger team called 3RUN and have a very impressive portfolio. Aside from working with big brand names like MTV, Ministry of Sound and Puma, they even boast having worked on Hollywood blockbusters including Casino Royale and Pirates of the Caribbean.
I have watched the video several times and still I am not bored of it. It’s amazing what those guys do! I briefly imagined myself surfing down the aft tiers but my vision failed to end quite as gracefully.
Well done Thomson! Truly brilliant!
Completely impressive! Thomason Cruises outdid themselves because this kind of marketing will appeal to a broad audience, but especially to a younger audience. Kudos to them. Next time, they should invite Cruise Miss to prep 3RUN as I’m sure she would want to help get them ready, right?
