Carnival Breeze Completes Sea Trials

Not long left to go until Carnival Breeze is ready to sail passengers to some amazing destinations. The 130,000 ton Fun Ship recently passed her important sea trials off the coast of Italy and is only weeks away from her inaugural sailing.

Carnival Breeze will be one of the biggest within the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet. She will have enough space for 3,690 passengers along with an array of exciting facilities on board. I suppose that’s why Carnival are dubbed the “Fun Ships”.

The Carnival Breeze has been taking shape for the last two years in the famous Fincantieri shipyard near Trieste, Italy. All that remains now is to complete some interior work, press the fresh linen and she is ready to go.

She will be jam packed with quite a few new features including the Thrill Theater; a special effects riddled theatre experience. Basically the theatre is similar to a motion simulator. It is built on a 3D projection system and will have special enhancements that can blow air on the back of people’s necks and tickle their legs; seats within the theatre will also move and vibrate all this being in time with the action on the big screen.

Shows lined up to be featured include Speed Racer 4-D, The Polar Express 4-D and Happy Feet 4-D.

This amazing new ship is scheduled to set sail on her inaugural cruise on June 3rd. She will operate a series of Mediterranean voyages out of Barcelona, Spain, until October 25th. She will then depart and head across the Atlantic on a 15-day repositioning cruise to the USA on November 24th. Here she will begin a year-round, six and eight-day Caribbean cruise itinerary out of Miami.
