P&O Cruises Will Drop Daily Service Charge From May 2019

P&O Cruises has announced that it will dropping the daily discretionary service charge.

The change will come into effect across the fleet on cruises sailing from May 2019.

For all cruises departing in 2019 on or after cruise numbers A911, B912, E911/A, J903, N910, R907, X907 the discretionary daily Service Charge on board will be removed.

P&O Cruises’ senior vice president Paul Ludlow said: “We take huge pride in giving guests a holiday experience that’s truly memorable and special. By removing the daily discretionary service charge, P&O Cruises will make enjoying a cruise holiday an effortless experience, knowing that great service comes as standard.”

At present, a £7 daily charge is automatically added to the onboard account of each guest.

This is big news for fans of P&O Cruises!

    Assume fares will rise to accommodate the change. Otherwise the only people losing out will be the crew.
