Cruise118 in partnership with Royal Caribbean, have launched a fabulous new food inspired competition combining delicious Mediterranean food and cruising, and they kindly sent me my very own hamper recently to share with you and hopefully inspire your very own culinary creations.

Cruisers, it’s time to get cooking!

This summer there will be more Royal Caribbean ships in the Mediterranean than ever before, not to mention the lines brand new Wonder of the Seas will also make an appearance. She’s the world’s largest cruise ship by gross tonnage, but Anthem of the Seas is certainly no small feat herself! She’s a ship packed full of amazing features and facilities, and she could be meeting you very soon!

#MediterraneanFlavour has been created to highlight the gastronomic treats at many of the Mediterranean ports that us Brits regularly cruise to, including Barcelona in Spain, Rome in Italy and Santorini in Greece, as well as slightly less-explored ports of Sète in France, La Spezia in Italy and Split in Croatia.

As well as the food experiences to savour on land, Royal Caribbean is the perfect cruise for a foodie or those looking to extend their culinary palette, with more than one dozen dining venues on-board. They include Italian fine dining at Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar, Japanese delights at Izumi, delicious New England-style seafood at Hooked Seafood, and the classic American steakhouse experience at Chops Grille.

There’s a dedicated section of the Cruise118 website that is bursting with recipe ideas! You’ll find authentic pizza recipes, deserts inspired by the Med, delicious Spanish Paella and many more!

Cruise118 and Royal Caribbean are giving you the chance to WIN a 7-day cruise around the Mediterranean onboard Anthem of the Seas. The ship will be cruising roundtrip from Southampton and visiting La Rochelle, Le Harve, Bilbao and La Coruna.
