Scenic Rolls Out 2022 All-Inclusive River Cruising Programme Ahead Of Schedule

Scenic Luxury Cruises and Tours has opened bookings for its 2022 European river cruising programme providing guests with the ultimate flexibility for their holiday plans.

On sale today, the early release of the 2022 programme provides guests with more access to their preferred river cruise itinerary, sailing dates and choice of spacious suite. All future bookings are covered by the luxury cruise line’s Deposit Protection Plan, providing guests with flexibility and assurance that their booking is safe.

Every Scenic river cruise and tour is truly all-inclusive, with prices including return flights, transfers, spacious suites and accommodation, a personal onboard butler, exceptional wining and dining experiences and all gratuities.

Highlights of the 2022 programme include:

  • A behind the scenes tour of Artstetten Castle (Austria) to hear family tales directly from one of the current owners, while taking a look inside the family Crypt on the eight-day Gems of the Danube itinerary. Price starts from £2,370 per person, based on the 18 April 2022 departure on the Scenic Crystal Space-Ship travelling from Nuremberg to Budapest via Austria.
  • History buffs seeking to learn more about the history of the World War, will have the chance to witness the poignant WWI memorials in the Belgian towns of Ypres and Passchendaele as Part of the Romantic Rhine & Moselle river cruise. Guests can learn insight into the strategies deployed to defend against the ascending German troops, as well as sharing how these devastated towns were rebuilt in the aftermath. A visit to the Netherlands American Cemetery and Memorial near Maastricht provides insight into the WWII American soldiers who fought here followed by a visit to the Eben Emael Fortress which was built to protect from German invasion. Prices start from £3,920 per person.
  • The 15-day Jewels of Europe voyage allows guests to journey outside of Amsterdam to the village of Schermerhorn for authentic windmills and idyllic views of the Dutch countryside. Here they can enjoy an enchanting private classical evening concert featuring the timeless music of Strauss and Mozart. Price starts from £3,820 per person based on the 7 November 2022 departure on the Scenic Opal Space-Ship travelling from Amsterdam to Budapest.
  • Guests joining the 16-day Danube Delta Discovery itinerary can join a local family for a hearty home-cooked meal in Osijek, Croatia, as well as a traditional Banica making class with a local to share stories on life in Bulgaria. Price starts from £4,170 per person based on the 19 March 2022 departure travelling from Vienna to Bucharest.

Its Health & Safety Steering Committee oversees all health and safety policies ensuring all guests wellbeing and safety is taken care of to the highest standard. With no more than 163 travellers onboard, there’s plenty of space to enjoy the facilities including wellness suite.

Available to book now, guests looking to plan ahead will be rewarded with generous discounts. For all 2022 European departures booked by 30 September 2020, guests will receive £1,200 savings per couple, plus complimentary door-to-door chauffeur driven transfers, Scenic’s Deposit Payment Protection cover, as well as an additional £125 saving per person if paid in full before 31 October 2021. If you can’t wait until 2022, the savings also apply to departures for next year (2021) with the early payment discount increasing to £200 per person when paid in full before 31 October 2020.
