Hotel stays pre and post cruise are incredibly popular, especially if you embark or disembark in a destination that really requires more than an 8-hour whistle stop tour, but it’s often just one more thing to think about as you scan the internet for the best deals. I’m hoping that’s exactly where my blog can help you today.
I came across a site recently that quite literally offers it all and at some of the best prices on the internet. I know because I did a search of several properties in the UK and Europe and each one was cheaper via the Club 1 Hotels website – a Southampton based property, ideal for cruise ship passengers, was more than £30 per night cheaper. They offer hotels, flights, car rentals, cruises and so much more.
One thing I can’t stand about websites like this one is having to enter credit card details in order to join and that’s why I signed up to Club 1 Hotels – because they don’t ask for that information. All you need to provide is your name, email address, home address and phone number, exactly as you would for making any hotel boking, or other. There is an option to upgrade, but it’s not a necessity in order to use the site and take advantage of the deals.
Who are Club 1 Hotels and what are the benefits of signing up?

I’ve read a few reviews about Club 1 Hotels and for the most part, they’re incredibly positive. Some people have said they had a few issues with their bookings when it came to receiving confirmation info from the hotel, however, each person also updated to say the issue was resolved promptly and they had saved a small fortune on the cost of their hotel stays. I always do some research, I can’t help myself. I also spoke to Club 1 Hotels about the information I’d found online and was assured that if any member needs assistance with any aspect of a booking or if they have a query relating to a more specialist reservation, all they have to do is contact Member Services and they can do so on email@example.com
As I said, they also do cruises. They don’t have every sailing listed that is available with every cruise line, but I do like the fact, for example, that for a Queen Mary 2 transatlantic from New York to Southampton, they list the prices for each date in one place, so you don’t need to keep searching for different sailing dates. Based on the prices currently shown for an April 2020 transatlantic vs 2 leading UK travel agents, I’d save over £300 by booking with Club 1 Hotels.
If you decide to sign up, I hope you get the bargain you were hoping for. If you don’t want to sign up, at least save the URL for future reference, just in case.
