All images marked with * were taken on a previous Ventura cruise but all featured on the menu’s from last week. In fact many of my fellow P&O Cruisers will recognise a few of the dishes above! I could add so many more but then the piece may last for several days!

Go on, grab an early lunch I won’t tell anyone, I’m sure you could eat all of the above now! 😉

  1. As always with ship food, and this is my number one complaint, there is a complete lack of vegetables. They should be filling half of the plate and yet they never do!

    • Hi Jill 🙂 Thank you for your comment. I always photograph the food before things like vegetables and potato’s are added (always looks better) but I must admit there was a never ending array of fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the cruise including savoy cabbage, green beans, sugar snap peas, cauliflower, asparagus, courgette, spinach, garden peas, you name it and they served it daily. I always ask for extra courgette on one particular dish and i often find myself submerged in a plate of garden peas with others 🙂
