Carnival Cruise Lines, Carnival Legend is currently undergoing her Aussification ahead of her debut in Australia in September.

Legend will join her sister, Carnival Spirit, Down Under for the new season and an extensive refit shall see her ready to greet Australian passengers with some trademark favourites including: the Red Frog Pub, Green Thunder waterslide (the fastest in the Carnival fleet), upgraded entertainment options and a Sushi Bar.

Best of all Carnival are inviting everyone to watch her transformation happen! 

The 2,124 passenger Carnival Legend also recently scored 100 during her United States Public Health inspection in Tampa. Top marks!

To earn a score off 100, cruise ships must receive perfect marks on all 44 items that comprise the U.S.P.H.’s comprehensive vessel sanitation programme checklist. The inspections which are unannounced take place twice a year and are required for any cruise ship with an international itinerary calling at a U.S. port. The vessels are evaluated in a wide variety of areas including, adherence to proper food handling, preparation and storage procedures and overall galley cleanliness.

Carnival Legend will operate seven-day Caribbean cruises from Tampa before re-positioning to Australia for a seasonal programme of eight to 12-day voyages from Sydney.
